Nakaya & Co. is honoured to have been invited to redesign the packaging for Peien. As a well-loved brand, Peien has long been recognised for its distinctive style and high-quality products. Through our in-depth discussions with the Peien team, we discovered their desire to enhance the brand’s visual appeal and create a more interactive connection with consumers through their packaging.
During the design process, we recommended that Peien upgrade its existing flat mascot to a 3D IP character. Compared to traditional 2D designs, a 3D IP character brings the brand to life, making it more dynamic and memorable. This transformation significantly enhances brand recognition, allowing consumers to instantly identify Peien products amidst a crowded market.
Furthermore, the incorporation of a 3D IP character adds depth to the packaging’s visual presentation, strengthening the overall brand identity. Whether printed on product packaging or extended to brand merchandise and digital platforms, the 3D IP character fosters an emotional connection with consumers, reinforcing brand recall and making Peien’s identity even more impactful.
At the same time, we are also immensely proud to congratulate Peien on embarking on its ambitious journey in July 2024 to set a Malaysia Book of Records title for "Most Tofu Cat Litter Sold in a Year." This remarkable achievement not only highlights Peien’s market influence but also reflects the brand’s unwavering commitment to quality and innovation.
